Trying to get through a mudslide area. There was a dump truck stuck when we arrived. Took a couple hours, but we made it! :)

Last night, I walked into our room- only to be greeted by a pervasive and pungent "essence de r-r-rat" permeating the atmosphere. We've been having some ratly troubles lately, so had resorted to poison; cowardly, but effective. In a last touch of spite, this fellow decided to die inside the block wall adjoining our bedroom... We dug him out...

Back again...

Hey everyone! Been gone for a while... We enjoyed 6 weeks of furlough
with family and friends in the states... When we arrived, we spent a
day in Chicago. Dolan was our tour guide, taking us to several great
restaurants and the Museum of Science and Industry. That was a
really cool place, we enjoyed it thoroughly!!!!

area was one of our favorites...

The model railroad layout, trains, and airplanes were neat...
