A wedding we attended in Ti Goave recently. It was quite large!! Pastor Levy and his wife, Rose- a lighthearted moment... :) The food at big gatherings like this is amazing, quite tasty...

Last night, I walked into our room- only to be greeted by a pervasive and pungent "essence de r-r-rat" permeating the atmosphere. We've been having some ratly troubles lately, so had resorted to poison; cowardly, but effective. In a last touch of spite, this fellow decided to die inside the block wall adjoining our bedroom... We dug him out...

Hey everyone! Been gone for a while... We enjoyed 6 weeks of furlough
with family and friends in the states... When we arrived, we spent a
day in Chicago. Dolan was our tour guide, taking us to several great
restaurants and the Museum of Science and Industry. That was a
really cool place, we enjoyed it thoroughly!!!!

Video clip of a rainstorm... Official rainy season is here in the Haiti mountains. We'll probably get 2" out of this storm... Then the skies will clear, and it will be another sunny Haitian afternoon!

Cherie just LOVES to help Mommy do stuff... Her favourite pastime is to hang out in the front pack and work around the house....
