Mother's day Pictures...

We had a little trouble getting the baby girl to feel happy about
the photo shoot... Even though she woke up this morning
saying "happy day! Happy day!" as she often does... :)

The blond boy with his arm in a cast, a slice on his nose,
and two abscessed teeth. :-( But cheerful anyhow!!

Happy day, eh??? Oh well, not too bad...

Aaaahhh, THAT looks like happy day... Our precious little ones. God is good!
Alex wanted to take a picture of Dad and Mom...
Not too bad... :)

Alex, the day of the accident...

The first X-ray, at the Ti Goave general hospital.

Not feeling so hot... :(

Waiting to go to the Adventist Hospital near Port,
got a little too tiring for a little guy.....

In the E.R. of the Adventist hospital, cleaned
up his nose and did preliminary
check on the arm.

Orthopedic surgeon, after determining that the
distil end of humerus bone was fractured but
not separated, reapplying the splint.

Just some pics of the 4-wheeler afterwords...

Alex surveying what WAS his ride, just yesterday!

Re-enactment....

Just after getting it home...

A few pics from the accident last week....

Shana and Cherie, standing at the spot the 4-wheeler left the road...

Zoomed in, the 4-wheeler landed down about as far as you can see into the valley.

The machine stopped at the bottom of the path you can see cutting diagonally
from the lower right corner. Some Haitian men widened that path so that
the 4-wheeler could be dragged back out...

Zoomed into the bottom of the path, where it landed.

Standing down below on the road, Shana and Cherie still by where the guys went over the edge,
the Land Cruiser is sitting up about where they lost control and started sliding...

Aquarium

Shoreline, city skyline from the aquarium...
The monster turtles were a favorite!
There was local school group touring the aquarium. Can you guess the attraction that has them all clustered around in rapt attention? Yeah- it was Alex. :-) Try to talk to him in Spanish... That doesn't work? Hmm, try the four English words we know... Meanwhile Alex experiments with Creole on them. Not much success there either... Touch his hair, laugh and giggle. All end up running over to the merry go round together and spinning till we're dizzy... Children sure know how to get along together. :-)
